Culture Test

The culture add test assesses how a candidate’s values and behaviors align with your organization values and the behaviors that would make your ideal hire successful in a specific role, based on a customized survey you fill out. All successful companies have one thing in common: a strong culture. Culture is not about the fancy office, the ping-pong table, or the colorful co-creation rooms. Culture is what people do when nobody is looking. It’s the sum of all individual behaviors in the organization: the habits that are formed, how people respond under pressure, what is being rewarded and celebrated, and what is being disfavored. A strong culture acts as a powerful competitive advantage. It enables innovation, facilitates decision-making, engages employees, and attracts candidates to your open roles. Having a strong organizational culture means that the leadership of a company and its employees share the same values around work, work side by side to achieve a vision and mission they believe in, and together create a productive and rewarding workplace for all. On the contrary, companies with weak cultures experience rifts between leadership and employees, see a high turnover rate as a result of employee unhappiness, and ultimately report sinking profits. Hiring plays a crucial role in building a high-performance culture, and this culture add test will help you identify the candidates that will help your organization thrive. The test provides insights about your candidates on two important parameters: values and behaviors. By understanding what motivates each of your candidates and how their inner drive and aspirations align with the values and needs of your organization, you can hire people who’ll not only fit in with your existing culture but will also contribute to making it better. Since every culture is unique, we’ve designed this test to be customized precisely to your company’s values and your open role’s needs for optimum results. To set the standards for the assessment, we ask you to rate a list of values according to their importance for your culture and indicate the behaviors (such as analytical, diligent, helpful, etc.) that are important for your open role. Candidates then receive a blank survey that asks them to select the values and behaviors that matter most to them. We then map the results of each candidate against the specification of your organization. The results of the culture add test help you understand how each candidate aligns with your organizational values and how their behaviors contribute towards what you’re looking for in a particular role so you can find the perfect hire.

DISC Assessment

The DISC test is based on the model developed by psychologist William Marston for behavioral assessment. It classifies how we express emotions into the four behavior types of DISC: dominance (D), influence (I), steadiness (S), and conscientiousness (C). Understanding which behavior type motivates you and others to take action and make decisions enables you to navigate relationships, collaborations, and conversations with others better. Once you understand that main trait that governs your and others’ behavior you can tailor your words and actions and guide those of others to achieve better results together. The DISC test offers these insights for your candidates by asking them to conduct a self-evaluation by scoring each of 48 statements from 1 (very inaccurate) to 5 (very accurate). The way candidates score these statements shows their preferences for each type of behavior in the DISC model: dominance (D), influence (I), steadiness (S), and conscientiousness (C). Candidates can sit squarely within one of the four main behavioral types or exhibit a combination between one type and one of its two adjacent ones, giving a total for 12 possible outcomes. The results page gives the type of each candidate and a general description of their behavioral type. It then gives provides insights into how each type behaves in their personal relationships and at work and describes their best traits and main challenges. Finally, the report offers tips for effectively communicating and working with that type, as well as suggested questions to use in an interview.
